Ask questions and understand your options before roof work begins.
You’ve called about your roof, and now a roofing contractor is coming to take a look. What should you ask while they’re there? It’s a good idea to start with the things you can’t tell from the driveway: where the trouble is, whether a repair will do instead of a full roof replacement, and how much the work will cost.

Cover and Care Roofing works with homeowners in Black Mountain, North Carolina, who either need repairs or a new roof. Our roofing contractor will inspect your roof and tell you what we’ve found. If only a small area needs work, we’ll let you know. If a roof replacement makes more sense, we’ll explain why and prepare an estimate.
You’ll have some choices to make, but you don’t need to know everything about roofing materials before you call. We can walk you through asphalt shingles, metal, slate, and shake, taking your home and the existing roof into account. We’ll also talk about the colors and styles you’re considering.
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, we’ll explain the work in practical terms. We’ll tell you when the crew is expected to arrive, anything you may need to move out of the way, and how long the job is likely to take. A replacement usually takes one or two days, depending on the roof. We’ll let you know if we find any plywood that needs replacing.
Our crew removes the old roofing and cleans up after the installation. If you have questions during the job, just ask. A roofing contractor will be available to answer them.
